This project produced a new animated opening for the YouTube channel @labsplaynow’s newest series, which showcases Hong Kong’s late‑night dining spots. Inspired by the city’s iconic neon signage, the animation captures the buzzing nocturnal atmosphere and culinary culture that define Hong Kong’s nightscape. Through stylised motion, luminous colour palettes and authentic visual motifs, the sequence evokes the flicker and glow of street signs while reinforcing the series’ focus on after‑hours food destinations. The opener creates a strong on‑screen identity that complements the programme’s content, enhances viewer recognition, and provides an engaging, culturally rooted introduction to each episode.
