This film introduces the 4th Hong Kong Denim Festival (HKDF), titled “Denim Artistry,” organized by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) with support from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) as part of the Hong Kong Fashion Fest. Launching in November 2025, the festival celebrates the creative and technical dimensions of denim through a curated programme of events. Highlights include the “Denim Delight” party and runway fashion show, a Denim Art Showcase, and “The Denim Edit” in-mall and in-store campaign. The festival will also present a capsule collection developed through the 2nd Global Denim Talent Programme (GDTP), and host a dedicated B2B event during Paris Fashion Week to foster international collaboration and market exposure. Through interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and designer profiles, the video contextualizes denim as both a material of heritage and a medium for contemporary design innovation, positioning HKDF as a platform that champions emerging talent, industry dialogue, and global engagement.
